We began the day with Chani at the Aveda Academy in Denver with manicures, makeup and hair. It was a hip salon with a wonderful staff and a great location with interesting nooks and architecture for some fun pre-wedding images. It is always fun exploring the old buildings in downtown Denver and playing with the light and architecture it offers.
We then journeyed to the Red Rocks Visitor Center for the rest of the day’s festivities. The weather was a concern with cold temperatures and the threat of snow, but true to Colorado tradition, the sun peeked through and clear skies prevailed. The bridal party enjoyed Champaign while they applied the finishing touches and the groomsmen relaxed in the bar with family and friends.
The wedding was held in the Rock Room and the beautiful rock in conjunction with the colorful murals resulted in really spectacular images. After the wedding all of the guests braved the cold temperatures for a quick photograph on the terrace and then enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres inside. The family remained outside for the group portraits.
Ann Lujan, from Finesse Events, coordinated the entire event with grace and charm and everything flowed very smoothly. Chani was able to completely relax knowing that Ann was taking care of those last minute questions. Not only did she orchestrate the ceremony and wedding details, but she also helped us with the photography ensuring that everyone was where they needed to be so that we were able to complete the family portraits in record time. Thank you Ann for making our job effortless and fun! You have our highest recommendation!
The bridal party escorted Chani and Chukk up to the amphitheater for some really fun shots. We laughed and jumped and did what we could to stay warm. Everyone was such a good sport and we had a great time. In fact we had so much fun that we constantly had a crowd of spectators peeking over the rail to see what we were up to.
The reception followed in the Rock Room and enjoyed fabulous food, drink, music and dancing. A great time was had by all. Thanks Chani and Chukk for allowing us to share and capture your wedding day!
