It was the perfect day for a wedding, Blue skies and warm weather. We started out wondering if we were going to have a bride as she was stuck in traffic in the limo and 45 minutes late
to do the portraits of them alone. She made it on location and looked incredible, it was worth the wait. We quickly got busy photographing with the remaining time.
I don’t like to have to work this quickly but I always get some of my best images from this pressure. This was no exception.
We then went down the hill to the Chapel at Red Rocks for the ceremony. Afterwards we went up to the Red Rocks Visitor center for the reception and the food and music was great.
When we brought out the reception slideshow (I like to show a smattering of images from the day at the reception) we set a new record for people gathered around my laptop.
The previous record was 40 and we had closer to 50. This was amazing, as I really like to give this sneak peak and hear people’s reactions.
All in all it was the perfect day, Stephen and Kristin and the wedding party were so fun and laid back in addition to being excellent jumpers (see book) it made for a great wedding for me to capture.
Thanks Stephen and Kristen for letting me be a part of this. Have a great time in Hawaii.
