Today was the wedding of Joel and Lindsay. We started the pre wedding preparations at Lindsay’s sisters home. I really was amazed at the care an effort Julie took putting this supper sticky, messy but totally waterproof eye liner on Lindsay. This made for some fun images that really show the bond of twins.

They then went to the Pines via a 1933 Ford hot rod. It had been fully restored and was a beauty. Once at the pines we set up the nearly 85 inch signature board I created from their engagement session. The 1933 Ford ruled the parking lot but this beauty grabbed all the guests’ attention right as they walked through the door. I wish I had made an extra for myself, as this is one of the coolest pieces I have ever done so far. See the last blog post about Joel and Lindsay’s engagement session to read more on this. I had never done a wedding at the Pines and it is a really nice venue with a great mountain feel. As the ceremony neared so did the big black clouds coming from the west. As Joel walked down the aisle it stared to cut loose, big-fat raindrops. I later found out that Joel really likes the rain and it never got real heavy. The ceremony carried on and toward the end it started to clear and a gorgeous rainbow appeared to congratulate their persistence with the wedding and their union. This led into a wonderful dinner capped with a slideshow of Joel and Lindsay. Then the DJ got the party started and the rest was history.

I have really enjoyed Joel and Lindsay’s fun loving attitude. I think this caries over into the images and will be an asset in their future together. I wish you the best.
