We had a great time today with Jonathan and Courtney! I photographed Jonathan’s sister’s wedding two years ago, and it was so nice to see all the familiar family members again. We covered a lot of ground in the course of the day. We started with the first encounter in a rose garden near downtown Littleton, not far from their home. We met a nervous Jonathan there and called for Courtney once we were ready and in position. Jonathan could barely take the anticipation. I gave him a pre-first encounter pep talk and he did great. It was a really sweet and loving first encounter and I am so glad that they were able to take their time and enjoy it without being in front of all their family and guests during the wedding ceremony. We then spent some time shooting with the two of them around old town Littleton. I love the reactions we got from passers by on the street. It seems they would help us in any way to get a great shot. Then off to the family group portraits – we had this knocked out in 15 minutes and were on to Three Trees Wedding Chapel for the ceremony. This was the second wedding we have done at Three Trees and it is a great chapel. The light quality inside this chapel is really nice. After the ceremony we went on to Terrace Gardens another venue we have only been to once before. The staff there was a pleasure to work with as well. Amazing food and yummy cake made the night.
Jonathan and Courtney are a couple that my camera just loves to photograph. I mean they look so great together, and even when they are nervous they still look great and powerful images just come naturally. I have really enjoyed working with this family as a whole. Who’s next?
