This wedding is special for us in so many ways. First it was held at the beautiful Devils Thumb Ranch near Winter Park, CO. This is a magical mountain setting on the west side of the Indian Peaks Wilderness area. I have spent many days exploring the mountains of this region and it was like being at home shooting a wedding in this grandiose setting. The only thing comparable to the spectacular views are the fabulous food and service.
Second is that Erin is one of the most talented florists in Colorado and beyond and we are so honored that she chose us to capture her wedding day. She knows many wedding vendors and has real insiders knowledge of the best wedding professionals. As the owner of Plum Sage Flowers we have been amazed with her creations and have had so much fun working with her at various weddings over the years, and it meant a lot to us to have the opportunity to create something for her.
The orchid parasol that she created for the time when I photographed her and Joe alone was stunning. It really added a unique texture and vibrancy to the images. It was the most unique floral creation we have ever seen!
Joe and Erin are off to Italy for their honeymoon.
