I am having so much fun this summer! We keep getting the best clients and the best conditions to shoot in. I knew that David and Jennifer going to be so much fun when they came to last years destination portrait weekend in Redstone, Colorado (outside of Aspen). We had such a great time shooting everywhere, on bikes, in the Aspen groves and on huge boulders by the river. They were so much fun and up for anything.
The wedding day was no different. We had perfect weather and glorious evening light for an outdoor wedding.
Hudson Gardens is such a pretty place with immaculate gardens and scenic wedding and reception locations.
Jennifer was radiant, and while David mentioned being nervous, it never showed through the ceremony.
We then went to old town Littleton for some time alone with David and Jennifer. We ran amuck in the streets, we invaded Abe’s Cafe and continued the shoot there.
It was really fun with all of Abe’s patrons in the background wondering what we were doing, not to mention the cars honking and congratulating Jen and Dave throughout the shoot.
Once back at the reception the skies opened up with rain but the party went on under the huge tent of the Garden Canopy.
Jen and Dave left early the next morning for their secret honeymoon to somewhere tropical.
It was the perfect day. Days like this make me feel so blessed I am a wedding photographer and get to share in these great moments with my treasured clients.
