March in Colorado: warm, green peaceful days or cold dark blizzards, it could have gone either way. Today was the better of the two options for a wedding.
We began at Red Rocks for Marta and Damian’s first encounter as an introduction to creating fun portraits of them alone.
Red Rocks was busy with all the citizens of Denver tired of suffering from cabin fever out enjoying the day hiking and biking around the park.
We continued down to the Chapel at Red Rocks for the wedding and scenery that only Red Rocks can provide.
After the ceremony the guests lined the stairs in the front of the chapel to create a wall of bubbles for Damian and Marta to run through.
Then we went to the Stone Brook Manor for a reception with rockin’ mariachi band. You have to see the images to understand what I mean by this.
Imagine traditional mariachi with red Mohawks, enough said. The band was great and I think everyone enjoyed it.
The staff at Stonebrook Manor took care of our every need, much thanks to fabulous coordinator Ann Yuska (970.535.4875, annyuska@hotmail.com).
As the mariachi band packed up, the DJ took over and the dance floor got busy. We had a great time and thank Damian and Marta for allowing us to capture this great wedding day.
