Wow!  Ever since we photographed Amber and Matt in Redstone last fall, we were captivated with their energy and zeal for life; their playfulness and love for each other radiated through all of the images from their engagement session, and we knew their wedding would amplify the wonderful chemistry between them.  Equally exciting was their wedding day schedule.  Amber and Matt were married at the Chapel at Red Rocks and 11 am and were whisked away in a classic 1966 red convertible Volkswagon Beetle to the reception immediately following at the Mount Vernon Country Club.  As always their wedding flowed smoothly thanks to the careful coordination of Kathy at the Chapel and the reception featured the fabulous food that Mount Vernon is known for.  The reception ended at 4 and then we had Amber and Matt all to ourselves with no time constraints and fabulous evening light.  If we could plan a perfect wedding that was focused on creating the best images possible, this is the way that we would do it every time!

After the reception we photographed Matt and Amber throughout Red Rocks and captured some really fun images of them with the Volkswagon Beetle.  The clouds began to build creating really dramatic backgrounds for the images.  We then went downtown to photograph on the 16th Street Mall.  About the time we arrived downtown, it began to drizzle, then rain, then pour until finally the streets began to flood.  Amber and Matt were such great sports through all the weather and ended up dancing in the flooded streets.  By the end of the shoot we were all completely drenched and having an absolute blast.  The images of our time with Amber and Matt playing in the rain are some of our all time favorites!  Thank you so much for the opportunity to document your wedding day –Enjoy!
