Ryan & Tracy: A Denver Wedding at Regis & The Oxford Hotel

It was a really fun day!

Tracy and Ryan are one of those couples that just glow with energy on their wedding day. They are full of love, excitement and emotion. This is the perfect recipe to create powerful images. Photographing in Lodo Denver is always easy with so many great environments. We used busy streets and dingy alleys and I laughed with nearly every click from how easy it was to make Tracy and Ryan look amazing. At the end of the day I walked away tired but very happy that I had the honor of being their photographer on this special day.

Melissa & Stan: Red Rocks Wedding Photography

It was really nice to photograph a wedding at The Chapel at Red Rocks again. Red Rocks has a energy about it that really makes for a great location to hold a wedding. The Chapel at Red Rocks has the best views of this world famous Colorado landmark. It was a hot summer day but Melissa and Stan were ready to go. Melissa worked to keep cool while we created dramatic images up in the park under the towering rocks. The wedding ceremony was perfect and I felt like I was coming home photographing in the chapel. I have probably captured more weddings here that any other one venue. After the wedding we were off to Briarwood Inn in Golden, CO for an outdoor reception in there newly landscaped courtyard. The staff at Briarwood Inn was outstanding, They took care of every detail with 5 star service. We also had the pleasure of working with Mandy and the crew at Lupher Arts who did the motion picture of the wedding day. I haven’t seen the finished movie yet but they were true pros and we worked well together. I am looking forward to seeing the final movie! If you are looking for a truly amazing live band for an event or wedding check out “Tripping Griswolds”. They really put on an amazing show! The wedding cake from Azucar Bakery was simply beautiful and YUMMY! Brad & Noriko; A Wild Basin Wedding

I was really looking forward to another wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park; this one being at The Wild Basin Lodge with Brad & Noriko, an amazing couple. It was a perfect day in every sense; warm with gentle clouds, a sporadic light sprinkle, a little breeze but never windy. The air was full of the sweet smell of pine trees.

Brad and Noriko are one of those couples who just inspire me. They are so relaxed and ready to enjoy every minute of life. When in front of my camera they are just themselves and take all my ideas for images and run all out with that goal. I am so happy for them, but also so sad that this great day of photography for me has come and gone. Now I want to share with you the images from the day. Neil & Virginia; An Engagement on the Family Farm

This was a really fun shoot. I had a foggy idea where I was headed when I went to photograph Neil and Virginia at their family farm. It was just down road from me, I pulled up and saw huge potential with this amazing location. It had old large cotton wood trees, an amazing lake with an island and it backed up to Boulder Creek. There was so much that we didn’t make it to half of the ideas I had. This is alright as this will also be the location for their wedding in August. I can’t wait to keep pushing the visual limits with this amazing couple in such a great environment. Virginia and Neil have been a pleasure to work with and I have really enjoyed there company and there energy. August can’t come soon enough, I am really looking forward to the cowboy boots and wedding dress images we are going to create.

David & Talia’s; Spring Estes Park Mountain Wedding at Della Terra

Spring in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado can be a time of sun and warmth or clouds with rain and snow. It can seem as if mother nature just cant make up her mind. What I loved about David and Talia’s wedding was they didn’t let mother nature spoil their fun with a spring blizzard during their outdoor wedding. All the guests were armed with blankets and umbrellas and we had one of the most memorable ceremonies in quite a awhile. Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park, CO is a beautiful venue for a mountain wedding any time of the year or weather condition. Everything was just done perfectly with the help of Allie Reed of Flawless Timeless and Blue doing the wedding coordination for the day. Everyone seemed to just take the huge white snowflakes as a sign of joy for the day. I really like photographing mountain weddings because you never know what will happen next, It is a true adventure!
