I haven’t really blogged much about our amazing experience teaching all aspects of photography at the After Dark Education photography workshops across the country. So far we have taught in Portland, New Orleans and now Las Vegas and Cincinnati in May. We get to teach aspiring and full time professional photographers from all over the country. To be honest I feel like I have learned as much as I have taught. I walk away from each event totally inspired. Over the last two weeks we took a few days to shoot personal work on the way to and from Las Vegas. Kathy and I then spent four jam packed days teaching and shooting with After Dark all over Las Vegas and the surrounding desert. Then after After Dark we jumped over to the MGM Grand for the next four days at the WPPI convention, One of the largest conventions and trade-shows for photographers in North America. It was great to see many old friends and see what new ideas many of our suppliers had for 2011. After WPPI we took the long way through the Utah desert with a stop in Zion National Park to hike the Angels Landing trail. Then home after two weeks out of the office with lots of catch up to do.
Here are some of my favorite images from this two weeks. I hope you enjoy them!

The Las Vegas Parkour club was the main event of my last class I taught. These guys were so talented and fun to work with.

Lots of snow in the Boulder Mountains of Utah. This is surrounded by the red rock desert southern Utah is known for.

Gorgeous images. I’ve been on that Angel Landing trail, and of course, I recognize Grand Junction images. Thanks for posting. Karen
