We started Ryan and Tracy’s engagement on the first shoot we did at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. The scenery and photographic possibilities were amazing although the clouds were thick and threatening with rain. We persevered and had a great time with them and their three dogs. Our day ended a bit shorter than I had hoped when the thick clouds made it dark early. We had one more shoot scheduled for two weeks later. This one was going to focus on their interests of horseback riding and soccer. Tracy has been a very serious equestrian for some time and Ryan is a pro caliber soccer player. We started the next shoot at Tracy’s stables for some fun with her giant horse. We then moved on to a local soccer field for some kicking of the ball and fun on the grass. We have now put all these images into a book to illustrate this time in their engagement and relationship. The last six pages have been designed to be space for all their wedding guests to sign as a signature book.
