I can’t believe fall is here! We have been so busy this summer and the time has flown by.
I always really look forward to our annual destination portrait weekend in the fall. We set up a base in the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Redstone, Colorado. The entire area is full of amazing photographic locations and some of the best fall color Colorado has to offer.
Brian and Jana came up and spent a romantic weekend in the Crystal Dreams Bed and Breakfast and Spa. www.crystaldreamsgetaway.com We cover a lot of ground on these destination portrait weekends as we shoot for a long session starting in the early morning light then take a mid day break and then another long session in the afternoon till dark. This is a lot of fun and we go to many locations in the area. Since we had so many great images to work with, it was only natural to create an engagement storybook. Brian and Jana were always on the ready and I really had a great time running around the mountains with them. Their wedding is going to be a blast and I feel like I can really tell their story well after spending so much time with them.
We are working on our destination portrait weekend dates for 2008. We are thinking about adding a few international locations/dates. Please let us know if you have a place you would like to go and maybe we can work it into the new schedule. Look for more soon.
