I love the depth and layering in this image. This is right across the street from their home in Lodo, Denver.
I like the form of the wall mimicking the shape of the mountains. Seemed fitting as they are facing west looking at the Rocky Mountains.
Drama in the form of simplicity. Is this a natural or urban location?….. I think both, This is in Denver. I love the juxtaposition.
I thought it might be too dark to shoot much as the clouds were getting thick and the sun was setting somewhere behind the gloom. This image just proves that it is always good to try to make an image even if the conditions aren’t in your favor.
Another one that didn’t get away, the Mountain Gods were smiling on us. I love the sense of place in this image.
