Rick and Stormy were whisked away from their 7/7/7 wedding to their honeymoon in Barbados. A week later we caught up with them the One and Only Palmilla Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This area of Mexico is a bizarre mix of barren, Baja desert and lush, tropical resorts. The One and Only is truly an amazing place with some of the best customer service I have ever seen at a resort. I’d highly recommend the One and Only for anyone’s next trip to Cabo. http://www.oneandonlyresorts.com
The immense grounds had a weeks worth of shooting locations. Unfortunately we only had three days. We shot in the afternoon till dark when the light on the beach was simply glowing. We were totally disoriented the first couple of days because the sun kept setting over the land when we knew on the west coast it should set over the ocean. But once we studied the map, we realized that we were on east side of the tip of Baja more on the Sea of Cortez than the Pacific.
It was great getting to spend so much time with Rick and Stormy. The first night we went to an amazing Sushi Restaurant next door to Palmilla. On the next day we went shopping and out to dinner and drinks at the famous Cabo Wabo. Thanks Rick and Stormy for all your hospitality.
This was the perfect end to a perfect wedding. Rick and Stormy will have a glorious three-volume set of Storybooks documenting their Engagement and Bachelor/Bachelorette Party, Wedding and Honeymoon.
As a storyteller this is as good as it gets. Thanks so much Rick and Stormy! Kathy and I wish you the best and look forward to more adventures together soon. Get ready for Lake Powell next!

We are shooting this week in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico at the beautiful One and Only Palmailla resort. We have had a great time working in this paradise. We came down to create the final Storybook volume featuring the honeymoon of Rick and Stormy.
It has been a near cloudless with warm to hot days and star filled cool evenings.
I’d have to recommend the One and Only Palmailla resort to any one planning a honeymoon.
The staff is amazing and the grounds are second to none. It has been a real treat to work here this week. I love working in new locations. It is very inspiring to go somewhere new and explore all the possibilities.
I will be adding more images as soon as we return. I just wanted to put up something for everyone who has written and called while we have been out of the office. The Internet connections are really slow down here so I will respond to all communications when we return to the office on the 26th.
